“‘On Iraq, the American people want a new direction, and we are providing it,’ said Senator Patty Murray, Democrat of Washington, a leader of the Congressional negotiators who came to terms on the legislation that has become a test of wills between Mr. Bush and the new Democratic majority on Capitol Hill.”

I read that in the New York Times just now. I ‘ve heard this quote before–this euphemism, “a new direction,” for calling it quits. I am sick of reading this horse shit. If this happens our politicians should at least acknowledge that leaving Iraq now will only fuel the wide-scale massacre of Iraqi families and the horrific bombings of marketplaces and Shia mosques.

I want an impeachment.
